Our Vision

Fifty-five years ago, company founders Dr. Heinrich Netheler and Dr. Hans Hinz formulated Eppendorf’s purpose, which remains valid to this day. Their exact words were: “We see the company’s task as developing, producing, and distributing products to improve human living conditions, primarily in healthcare, and through this activity, to secure the livelihoods of those working for the company.” Then as now, this goal is at the core of Eppendorf’s business activities and, in view of current challenges such as combating dangerous diseases, climate change, or food insecurity, is more relevant than ever.
